The development of this app was driven by a fundamental need for better navigation on Grand Lake. Equipped with GPS functionality, the map feature will display names of coves and landmarks. Boaters can now easily identify their location; for instance, pulling up to a dock and querying, “Is this Dripping Springs Cove?” will no longer pose a challenge. By simply tapping the app and selecting 'Grand Lake Places,' users will find their location clearly marked alongside nearby coves and landmarks. Moreover, the GPS locator dot will facilitate navigation to various destinations around the lake. For commercial partners, the app offers additional benefits such as identification features, web links, and push notifications to relay special offers and important updates.

In an age where paper is becoming less prevalent, users can stay informed through the app's news tab. This feature will link directly to the latest stories and press releases from Grand Lake News Online. Each headline is clickable, leading users to full articles on our website.
